Breathe in gorgeous music from England - music that sings of hope, reassurance, illumination and a bit of humor. The Valley Chamber Chorale’s closing concert of the season will dazzle you with music that is classical, yet as diverse as the days of spring.
It is our great pleasure to welcome the Youth Choir of Ascension Episcopal Church in Stillwater as our guests. These young singers, under the direction of Nancy Whipkey, have performed at Orchestra Hall, toured England and Washington DC and are known throughout the area for their pure, exquisite sound.
Also featured will be organist Laura Edman playing Handel’s Organ Concerto in Gminor, Opus 4, No.1.
Our soloists will include the return of Tracey Gorman, our outstanding soprano from the 2006 season and young baritone Aaron Larson, who will take your breath away with his great understanding and interpretations.
